Bringing Spaces to Life: How Virtual Experiences Are Transforming the Way We Sell, Share and Celebrate Place
Selling or showcasing a physical space is about more than visibility, it’s about emotion. And as we move into 2026, it’s about connection, data and adaptability too.
At Circus, we use virtual and immersive technology to help brands in the property and events sectors connect people to places in ways that static media can’t.
Our work with Canopi, OXO Tower, and Winter Gardens shows how virtual experiences have become the cornerstone of modern venue marketing, and how they’re already shaping the way spaces will be sold, shared and celebrated in the years ahead.
Canopi: A Virtual Experience with Design and Flexibility at Its Core
When Canopi unveiled its reimagined workspace and event areas, their marketing team wanted to showcase more than design, they wanted to demonstrate possibility, connection and pride.
We created an interactive virtual tour, filmed across the whole building, each captured in multiple configurations to highlight flexibility, light and atmosphere.
Every setup, from boardroom to social and hybrid, was brought to life with cinematic precision.
The finished tour became a future-proof marketing asset:
- Users explore in real time, switching layouts and lighting as they go.
- The marketing team can deploy the tour as a 24/7 sales tool, integrated across website, proposals and social campaigns.
- It can be used for storytelling, showing Canopi’s design and brand culture in one cohesive digital experience.
It’s a piece of content designed not just for today’s market, but for how marketing will operate tomorrow.

OXO Tower: Turning a Venue into a Virtual Showcase
For Camm & Hooper’s OXO2 event venue, our goal was to create an experience that felt as iconic as the riverside view itself.
The finished 360 guided virtual tour redefined what venue marketing could look like, with interactive navigation, cinematic fly-throughs, and dynamic day/night modes.
Every detail was built for engagement and longevity.
An integrated launcher bar housed floorplans, capacity data, and enquiry CTAs, enabling seamless conversion from exploration to action.
Results:
- Longer visitor sessions
- Increase in international enquiries
- Positive client feedback
Crucially, the OXO2 tour was built with scalability in mind. As new event setups or décor changes occur, the content can be re-shot and updated in minutes, keeping the experience fresh and search-optimised year-round.

Winter Gardens: Virtual Heritage, Global Audience
The historic Winter Gardens Blackpool needed a digital solution that honoured its past while embracing the future.
We captured every hall, ballroom and auditorium in immersive 360° detail, creating a cohesive, interactive experience that brings this landmark to life for global audiences.
Its modular virtual framework allows ongoing updates, whether that’s new imagery, branding or capacity data, without starting from scratch. That means lower long-term costs, faster turnaround, and content that stays relevant as the venue evolves.
Today, the Winter Gardens tour is an integral part of their commercial and marketing toolkit. It has increased global visibility, strengthened partner relationships, and positioned the venue as a pioneer in immersive heritage storytelling.

Future-Proof Marketing, Built for 2026 and Beyond
The landscape of venue marketing is shifting. By 2026, immersive, data-driven experiences will no longer be a differentiator; they’ll be a baseline expectation.
Here’s why:
- Hybrid audiences are standard. Decision-makers want to explore venues from anywhere, on any device.
- Sustainability matters. Virtual tours reduce the need for multiple site visits, cutting both costs and carbon impact.
- AI integration is emerging. Automated narration, personalised journeys, and predictive analytics will shape how users experience and interact with spaces.
- SEO performance is measurable. Virtual content keeps visitors on site longer, improves engagement signals, and boosts ranking visibility across key search terms.
At Circus, we’re building this next generation of immersive marketing right now, combining creative storytelling with scalable, intelligent tech.
The Measurable Impact of Immersive Marketing
Our virtual experiences don’t just look impressive. They perform too.
Across our projects, we’ve heard of:
- Increases in enquiries
- Significant dwell-time uplift and user retention
- Audience expansion across 50+ countries
- Faster conversion from first view to confirmed booking
Each experience is designed to evolve. New spaces, new stories, same impact.
Reimagining the Way We Showcase Place
Immersive storytelling isn’t just a creative upgrade; it’s a commercial evolution. It changes how brands sell, how audiences engage, and how marketing teams measure success.
By combining high-quality 360 production, intuitive navigation, and brand-led design, we help venues move beyond documentation to digital embodiment, spaces that live, breathe and sell online.
As we step into 2026, the most successful marketing teams won’t just be the ones who look good online. They’ll be the ones who’ve built assets that adapt, scale, and perform, whatever comes next.
At Circus, that’s exactly what we create: immersive experiences that last.
