360 Virtual Tour

Oriel is one of the most historic and prestigious of the Oxford Colleges. In the race to attract the best students from around the world, Oriel needed a way to show off their facilities in a way which allowed domestic and international students the chance to explore in a transparent way. Just as if they were coming for a real open-day.

This 360 virtual tour at the University of Oxford starts with a high-resolution aerial panorama, setting the college in-context at the heart of the city. Then uses a simple branded text navigation menu so that – in a single click – visitors can jump to the relevant scene.

Animated information boxes appear at strategic spots throughout the tour, offering descriptions of the spaces and a taste of student life.
